McLuhan Opole region in 2011 is a project which is one of the activities associated in McLuhan networks in Europe in 2011. The conference aims to examine the condition and capacity theory of Marshall McLuhan in relation to medias’ present and past. This will be done in three areas:
• Revising McLuhans’ theory of media evoluation.
• Looking for continuation of McLuhans’ concepts in contemporary phenomenon of audiovisual culture.
• The third area is the future of media and their impact on our lives.
During the conference, will be presented and analyzed a model of Interactive Culture Map, developed during the workshops described above. All conference materials and described model of crearing Interactive Culture Map will be published.
